Childbirth Education Class (in-home visit)

Mindset for Labor & Birth (including birth rights, consent, making informed decisions, and how to think through preparing for birth plans/requests) 

Learning objective: Reflect on the birth that you desire to have, learn your options, know how to prepare for your desired outcomes, and consider what happens, if there’s a need for another plan.

Comfort measures and labor positions (including pelvic floor health) 

Learning objective: Learn to cope through pain, opportunity to reflect on how you would like your support to show up, and discover how to be present through discomfort and pain.

Postpartum 

Learning objective: Prepare for immediate postpartum care of mother, baby, and partner. Plan how the family will be cared for, as the baby is being nurtured.

Rebirth, grief, and healing (Mastrescence)

Learning objective: Prepare to live through the new reality, letting go of life before baby, and postpartum with an attempt not to fall into depression. If depression comes up, tips to get through. 

How To Give Birth To a God 

Learning objective: Parse what The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan teaches and how we can incorporate these practices into our life during pregnancy and postpartum.
