Chosen Doula

We discover who we are by listening to the spirit and reverencing the womb.
May all women reclaim birth, so all of humanity be free from mental agony.

Do What?

A doula is a Greek word meaning woman servant for mothers, babies, and their families. A doula is a hired coach and companion offering resources, spiritual, physical, and emotional support through pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum.

Prenatal & Pregnancy

Prenatal: before birth; during or relating to pregnancy

As your doula, my goal is to support you with having a birth experience of your choice. In addition to supporting the mother physically, I will provide informative, spiritual, and emotional support to the mother and family.

During our sessions, we prepare for your big day by creating a birth vision of your choice, talking through your options, practicing mindfulness, and offering other prenatal care services. Please keep in mind that these are not medical assessment sessions.

Labor & Delivery/Childbirth

As your doula, I am your birth companion and do not work for your provider. I work for you, taking into consideration what we discussed during the prenatal sessions and in your birth vision. We will implement mindful practices and I will advocate for your wants and needs.

Postpartum Support

Postpartum support is offered immediately after the birth of baby for a minimum of 2-4 hours and/or for 40 days. Once you return home, we offer mothering the mother sessions. We talk about how you are doing physically, emotionally, and spiritually and offer or refer you to the right resources. We also unpack how the partner and children are adjusting.
