Why I want to be a doula (in short)

After being born a premature, weighing four pounds and four ounces at six months from my beautiful teenage mother (at the time), I find it extremely important for all women to understand the significance of giving birth to children. I’ve had multiple conversations with my parents (both biological and grandparents) to learn more about what was happening while I was in the womb of my mother. I encourage each person, both man and woman to inquire about what was happening during each trimester. This type of knowledge can bring insight into who we are and bring understanding regarding the decisions we make.
